COVID-19 : Measures at Riôtel Matane

Here is some information and measures, that we kindly request you to apply during this pandemic period:

 

RECEPTION:

You will be asked verification questions upon arrival and we reserve the right not to accept a hotel booking, if we believe there is a risk of contamination.

In effect of March 29th, the reception will be open every day from 7 a.m. to 11 p.m. If you want to go outside after 11pm, please let us know at your arrival, we can offer you a room with an exterior access. We kindly ask you to plan your arrival during this period. We will ask you to settle the room upon arrival, so that you may check out at the desired time. A night watchman will be on site to ensure security. For emergencies only, the night watchman can be reached at 418-566-9409. Surveillance cameras are placed throughout the hotel for everyone’s safety.

We only accept credit or debit cards.

 

CLOSED SERVICES:

The CARGO restaurant is closed for an indefinite period. At the hotel reception, we have a list of restaurants, grocery stores and food outlets which continue to offer their services.

L’ESPACE VAGUE / Recreational services: (indoor swimming pool, whirlpool, sauna), GYM AND OBLIVIO SPA are closed.

The new section of the hotel is temporarily closed. (Ocean, Escale and Studio room types).

HOUSEKEEPING:

  • Make up service will no longer be offered for a stay of 2 nights or more. Towels will be available in the corridor, on each floor. Bins are also provided to dispose of your soiled towels and washcloths.

 

  • Upon departure, we kindly request you to put the soiled towels in the bin available on your floor.

 

  • Garbage bins will be placed on each floor to discard your bags of waste. Additional bags are available on each floor.

 

  • For stays exceeding 3 nights, you are kindly requested to choose one of the following two options:

 

  • Change your room on the 4th night
  • Continue to stay in the same room and we will provide you with cleaning products and rags, in addition to bed sheets, in case you wish to change them yourself.

 

  • Amenities such as coffee, tea, milk, cream, soaps, etc. are available at all times at reception.

 

  • Despite our full implementation of the highest sanitation standards, as well as our prioritization of daily hygiene measures, we would like to inform you that the above measures have been implemented, in order to further minimize the risks of propagation.
